Hope and goosebumps

I have a story of a friend who went to Africa with us. Her husband went to a gas station recently and somehow (impossible) his truck locked and he had to wait on someone to help. He began visiting with the man working in the station. He is from Nepal and came to the United States to find a way to get safe water back to his country. Pray as I begin a dialogue with him that we can get his people help.

50th wedding anniversary

Last night John and I were able to be a part of a very special celebration. We were invited to speak and demonstrate the water unit at a 50th anniversary party for Don and Virginia Beck. The party was open to family and special friends and we were honored to be invited. They asked for no gifts, but asked for monetary gifts to be given to the Compassion Fund at Harmony Church for water units. Thank you for your willingness to help the children of the world.

Busy weekend

Saturday night John and I were in Southern Iowa to a potluck and ice cream social. John was able to talk a bit about the water unit and demonstrate how it works. There was much good food and fellowship. Last night we were in Memphis, Mo. at the Baptist Church for the evening service. John and Mike were able to share during the sermon time and we were so glad to be asked as guests speakers.
